Music Lessons in Denver
Denver carries a very active pop, jazz and classical music scene, and was one of the major hotspots for grunge, heavy metal, thrash and 90’s pop music. Fueled by visits from popular touring rock and heavy metal acts of the time, the Denver music scene grew, paving the way for future bands to develop an emerging music scene. With help from Mayor Wellington Webb and his desire to revitalize the Denver Music and Arts community, the city saw record attendance in a number of festivals, creating a gateway for more to follow. The area also served as a melting pot for metal, punk and southern gothic bands which ushered in the new revolution known as ‘jam bands’. This culture has produced a strong, multi-talented group of local musicians eager to give lessons to increase the strength and quality of Denver’s music culture. When in Denver, it is a must to check out some of the music venues such as the Bluebird Theater, Fillmore Auditorium and Red Rocks Amphitheater, a hip and completely unique music gem in the MileHighCity.
