About Me
A very versatile and well-rounded artist, Kay Lynnoffers lessons in Piano, Singing, Guitar, Ukulele, and Harp! She has a lifetime background of working and performing in the arts with children of all ages. Music, singing, dance and acting come alive through her impartation of the joy and well-being we can share in experiencing these expressive arts.

Kaylynn Sa.- is proficient in and teaches Guitar Lessons, Keyboard and Piano Lessons, Vocal Lessons, Song Writing Lessons .Formal Education:
• Conservatory of Music – Kansas City, Missouri – piano. • Oklahoma City Community College – music, literature and ballet. • Emerson College, West Sussex, England – voice pedagogy. • Rudolph Steiner College – Iona Eurythmy School, Fair Oaks, CA child development, physiology, musicology, dance history, dance & music as healing arts, speech, language development music theory, music history. Graduate of the Certified Clinical Musician Program utilizing therapeutic music in children's hospitals and memory care facilities.

KayLynn is an artist, teacher and performer, working in schools and community events all over the state.• A former faculty member: the Waldorf Schools of Marin, Sierra, Sonoma Valley, Davis, and Cedar Springs, California, she has served as Artist-In-Residence in California, Oklahoma, and Texas since 1990.

My daughter just began piano and voice with Kaylynn. She had prior piano experience but voice is new to her. Kaylynn listened to her play and reviewed her previous instructional books before discussing how best to proceed with her lessons. My daughter is excited to return for her next lesson.

We are very happy with KayLynn! She is very sweet to my daughter and has taught her so much in the 5 weeks we have been going to her. My daughter is always excited to see to piano lessons and learn something new!

Do not use this teacher if you like today's Pop rock music. She made me feel like I was an inadequate mother for allowing my daughter to sing Meghan Trainer's song "No". She stated (right in front of my daughter) that she does not teach music in her studio that talks about men having their hands all over me. Well, if you know the song...you know that it is actually saying "no" to inappropriate things (hence the title of the song, "No"). Very disappointed and a bit hurt at the way it was handled. In the middle of the lesson she gave us the option to either sing songs SHE felt were age appropriate OR find a different teacher. Well, you can guess what we opted for...

The voice instructor, Kaylynn, that my daughter ended up with was amazing! The staff at Taylor Robinson do a great job with contacting you to follow up and ensure that everything went well. It was a little chaotic getting that initial lesson but was worth the trouble.
